• The e-MedSys is a web-based tool designed and developed using a generic methodology for administrating and managing medical diagnosis and health care information.
• It consists of two main modules, viz., the Online Medical Data System and the Online Decision Support System, which provide decision support system for medical prognosis and diagnosis rapidly and accurately.
• Online Decision Support System is an innovative system in e-MedSys that had been developed using state-of-the-art artificial neural network algorithms (a branch of Artificial intelligence methodologies.
• This intelligent decision support tool can help clinicians to make rapid decisions on the treatment of suspected Acute Coronary Syndrome (ACS) patients.
• It can also be deployed as a tele-consultation tool under the MSC Tele-medicine flagship application.
